COSTA RICA SURF AT PLAYA HERMOSA

This Costa Rica surf special is similar to the Costa Rica Playa Grande Surf Package, except you will be surfing on Costa Rica's central coast and not it's northern coast. The advantage of this Costa Rica surf package is that you are in the Playa Jaco/ Hermosa area which only 2 hours away from San Jose so your driving time is less. This leaves you more time in the water and not driving around.This surf package also was designed for those who are arriving late into San Jose or who have an early departing flight.

Either way you will have your own Costa Rica Car to make the drive to Playa Hermosa on the Central Pacific coast . You will spend your first or last night at the the Irazu Hotel, ideally located both near the San Jose airport but close enough to downtown so you can check out the shops, bar and restaurants that San Jose has to offer. The other 6 nights you will stay at the increasingly well known, Fuego del Sol Hotel.  Its  located right on the beach so all you do is walk out to the surf break.

Since you have your car rental, take advantage and try surf the surrounding breaks such as Boca Barranca, a great Costa Rica river mouth break, or any of the other surf breaks north and south. As with all Costa Rica surf packages at Tico Travel this surf package can also be modified to fit your schedule, so if you can only stay for 5 days or maybe you want to stay 10.
